    Set For Life, Breathe

     

    The last few weeks I’ve written on the theme, ‘if you can relax in any position, you will be set for life.” Last week I wrote about gathering supports. Once supports are in place, just breathe.

    Many of us on the East Coast did this in real time this past week in preparation for the blizzard of 2016. After the food is purchased, batteries installed in flashlights, and Amazon or Netflix streaming, there is no more to do. Can we unhook from doing and just be?

    Let your chair, cushion, or even bed support you. Relax. Breathe. Notice how you want to make an adjustment here or there to maintain or deepen relaxation. Breathe some more. Be set for life.
